The TA1120 from Triad RF is a small form factor, lightweight circuit card amplifier that has been designed to be integrated into existing CubeSat and NanoSat satellite systems. This class AB GaN module is designed for both military and commercial applications. It is capable of supporting any signal type and modulation format, including but not limited to 3-4G telecom, WLAN, OFDM, DVB, and CW/AM/FM. The latest device technologies and design methods are employed to offer high power density, efficiency, and linearity in a small, lightweight package. Operating from 380 to 470 MHz, the TA1120 is compatible with most UHF transmitters. This amplifier also offers up to 4W of output power to ensure proper communication while operating in Low Earth orbit (LEO). |
Smaller than a credit card and weighing in at less than a half an ounce, the TA1120 is perfect for applications where small size and light weight is critical.
With a voltage input range of +9 to +14 VDC, the TA1120 is versatile enough to operate on a range of available voltage buses typically found on a CubeSat chassis.
