Custom MMIC DC-20GHz Voltage Variable Attenuator

31/7/2019

The CMD285C3 is a DC to 20 GHz GaAs MMIC absorptive Voltage Variable Attenuator (VVA) which is housed in a leadless surface mount package ideally suited for military, space and communications systems.

The VVA uses two analog control voltages varied between -5V and 0V to control RF signal levels over a 35dB dynamic range. The CMD285C3 has a low insertion loss of 3.2 dB at 10 GHz and is a 50ohm matched design, eliminating the need for RF port matching.

Features
  • Wideband performance
  • Low insertion loss
  • Wide attenuation range
  • High linearity
  • Pb-free RoHS compliant 3x3 mm SMT package

Now the WaveMon can trigger alarms from average values

24/7/2019

The new firmware for Wavecontrol’s Wavemon enables the unit to trigger exposure alarms on average or instant values. You can set LEDs to display both values, as well as vibration and sound, and snooze alarms for 1 minute by simply pressing a button.

If you already have a Wavemon, go to Wavecontrol’s intranet and update it.

Contact us for more information on the Wavemon, or read more about its features here.
