High Quality Coaxial & Waveguide Components and Sub-Assemblies.

1/10/2014

In bringing this company to the UK and European market Howard Venning, MD of Aspen, had this to say, “All the ATM products are built to meet or exceed stringent specifications and we are very excited about representing them.”

ATM’s extensive range of directional couplers includes both coaxial and waveguide designs along with an extensive range of broadband and application specific products.

Directional couplers and power dividers have many applications, these include providing a signal sample for measurement or monitoring, feedback, combining feeds to and from antennas and antenna beam forming.

Coaxial directional couplers are available with SMA or N-Type connectors in single and dual configurations. Standard low power octave band models have a power rating of 50Watt CW, 3kW peak, and are available with coupling values of 6dB, 10dB, 20dB and 30dB as standard.  For higher power applications ATM can offer 200Watt CW or 600Watt models typically fitted with N-type connectors, (SC and 7/16 connectors are also available). In addition, coupling values of 40dB and 50dB are also possible.

The ATM waveguide coupler family consists of 5 different series with 19 different models, each suited to specific applications. Designs include Broadwall, Cross Guide, Loop, Short Length High Directivity and Hybrid.  Each of these designs is available with single or dual coupled ports, in waveguide or coax. Waveguide sizes from WR650 (1.12-1.70GHz) to WR28 (26.5-40.0GHz) with a wide range of flange options. Coupling values depend upon design with values from 3dB to 50dB. Directivity again depends upon design; however for high accuracy coupling applications directivity specs of 40dB are possible.

ATM designs, manufactures, supplies, and stocks to Commercial Standards, or to full Military specifications, an array of Coaxial, Waveguide RF and Microwave Components Subsystems.  For instance, in the field of Dual Directional Couplers ATM can offer a 600W high power unit where designers can choose from a range of Frequency bands.

Many ATM directional couplers are available from stock with delivery to UK customers. In addition their in-house design, manufacturing, inspection and quality control capabilities allow fast response to customer requirements. For all models customer specified frequency ranges and coupling values are available.

The MIL standards MIL-I-45208, MIL-S-454, MIL-S-202, MIL-S-883 and MIL-S-750 are utilised for all in-process controls and final inspection procedures.
