DNG7500 : Programmable Digital Noise Generator

The Noisecom programmable DNG7500, generates pseudo-random noise and CW signals for RF, Microwave, and digital applications. It can provide up to a 70 MHz wide RF output to emulate real-world noise and interference conditions. The user can create many complex waveforms, including digital notches, and burst pattern waveforms The Large 8.4 " colour display contains unit block diagrams and tabular signal parameter values making the creation and storage of waveforms intuitive and efficient.

The signals can be up-converted to your band of interest with an optional LO and mixer. User created MatLAB data files can be imported for digital conversion and subsequent analogue signal output.

An optional dual channel output allows for cost effective ATE test systems.

The Noisecom programmable GPS7500 Noise & Interference Generator is capable of generating up to a 40 MHz wide noise or interference band for GPS receiver susceptibility testing. The Large 8.4 " colour display contains unit block diagrams and tabular signal values making the creation of CW, noise or interference signals simple and intuitive. Several pre-programmed FAA RCTA susceptibility test signals allow the user to begin testing immediately. Modular capability provides for expansion with additional independent AWG plug-in cards for the GPS, Galileo, or GLONASS signal bands.

This unique combination allows one instrument to support today's, as well as, tomorrow's navigation satellite standards.

Applications / FeaturesThe NC6000A and NC8000A Series instruments are designed for general-purpose noise applications on the bench, or in a rack test station. The manual controls make it simple to operate and reduce test set up time. Standard units can be modified for specific customer requirements.


UFX7000A : Programmable Analogue Broadband Noise Generator

Applications / FeaturesThe UFX7000A series instruments provide white Gaussian noise with high flatness. Different versions cover frequency ranges from 10Hz up to 40 GHz. The UFX 7000A series is an ideal source for a multitude of applications: Eb/No, C/N, SNR, Disk Drive testing, BER, Jamming, as well as testing of GPS receivers, CATV equipment and Filters. A wide set of options allows to configure the UFX Series to meet any measurement requirement.

The PNG7000A Series instruments generate white Gaussian noise and provide a summing input to control signal-to-noise (SNR) or carrier-to-noise (CNR) for bit-error-ratio (BER) testing. The output can also be used as a source for Jitter applications. A key feature of this instrument is its low distortion signal path that sums the user-supplied signal with the internal precision white noise source.


J7000A : Jitter Generator

Applications / FeaturesThe J7000A series is used in the industry as a random jitter source for testing serial data bus applications, like PCI Express Gen I & II, Serial ATA, and Fiber Channel and others. It fully supports the PCI-SIG total jitter (TJ) model, and provides white Gaussian noise with a high crest factor. The summing input can control signal-to-noise (SNR) or carrier-to-noise (CNR) for bit-error-ratio (BER) testing.


UFX EbNo : Precision SNR Generator

Applications / FeaturesUFX-EbNo is a fully automated precision signal to noise analyzer that sets and maintains a highly accurate ratio between user supplied carriers and internally generated noise over a wide range of signal power levels and frequencies. It is used in Telecommunications, satellite communication, as well as defense applications.

NC346 Waveguide Precision Calibrated Noise Source

Noisecom's NC346 Series waveguide is designed for narrow-band high ENR noise figure measurement applications. For high power waveguide systems the series has an optional built-in isolator to provides very low VSWR and superior flatness, typically <= +/- 1.5 dB.


NC5000 Waveguide Precision Calibrated Noise Source

The NC5000 Series noise sources feature outstanding stability, switching speed, and ripple-free response over standard waveguide bands. The high stability of the NC5000 Series allows these units to replace cumbersome gas tube noise sources for most applications. Ripple in the output has a direct effect on measurement accuracy, so Noisecom has tailored the response to minimize this ripple throughout the specified frequency range.


NC3000 Coaxial Precision Calibrated Noise Source

Noisecom's NC 3000 Series calibrated coaxial noise sources are well suited for receiver testing, noise figure measurements, or applications that require broadband noise and fast switching times. Several models include output isolators, and voltage regulators that provide excellent stability over varying temperature and voltage ranges. The NC 3000 Series includes the NC 3100 units with 15 dB ENR output for noise-figure meters, and the NC 3200 Series high-output noise sources with outputs between 26 and 35 dB ENR for radar and satellite communications system testing.

DSG9000 HD Radio Series

Noisecom DSG9000System AccessoriesThe DSG9000 series instruments are HD Radio signal sources designed to play pre-recorded vector files that replicate various HD Radio service modes and channel configurations. The series has two models, one with all vectors for receiver design, and the other with two production level vectors for rapid testing. Every DSG9000 includes a removable HDD for vector file storage and DVD drive to install future updates. The signal vectors are certified by the iBiquity Digital Corporation, sole developer and licenser of HD Digital Radio technology.

Merlin CATV Test

Noisecom MerlinSystem AccessoriesThe high power output of the Merlin is designed to reduce costly service technician repeat calls due to intermittent cable system problems. The single tone frequency output of the Merlin paired with a leakage detector allows the discovery of damaged cable system components. These damaged components are susceptible to ingress by external disturbance sources, and are not easily detected using just a leakage detector. Pairing Merlin with a receiver allows the Technician to pin point the problem cable or component without costly construction demolition of the business or residence.

For improved customer satisfaction, the device can also be used for certification testing of new cable system installations.
