The Real-time Scenario Generation (RSG™)

GSG Studio ViewThe Real-time Scenario Generation (RSG™) option for the GSG products supports fixed latency streaming of 6DOF trajectory information via position, velocity, acceleration, or heading commands. Vehicle orientation and orientation changes, as well as satellite power levels, are also controllable via real-time commands.

The RSG option allows the input of real time trajectory data from external devices or software via commands which support setting position, velocity, acceleration, orientation, or heading independently. This allows for external control of all or some of these parameters depending on your simulation needs or capabilities

GSG-6 Series Multi-GNSS Simulators

GSG Signal Generator
The GSG-Series 6 family offers multiple frequency band operation, multiple GNSS constellation simulation, and expansion to many more channels. Incorporating all of the features of the popular Series 5 family, the Series 6 line expands your capability to simulate all the new, emerging GNSS signals. With a base of 32 channels, upgradable to 48, 64, or more, it provides navigational fix and position testing, for engineering and development testing. The Series 6 simulator protects your investment by being upgradeable in the future to more frequency bands and channels (plug-in
hardware upgrade) and more signal formats (firmware upgrade).

The GSG Series 6 user can configure scenarios on-the-fly without the need for an external PC and pre-compilation phase. Via the front panel, the user can swiftly modify parameters such as user position, time and specify output powers in carrier-to-noise ratio instead of absolute output power. Utilizing the white noise generation extends the usability and flexibility. And using the optional StudioView™ software facilitates easily created scenarios via a Google Maps interface.


There are 3 hardware configurations of the GSG 6 Series. Each configuration adds 16 channels and another frequency that can be simultaneously simulated. You can upgrade models by returning the unit to the factory.

GSG-56 16-Channel GLONASS + GPS Simulator

GSG Signal Generator
The GSG-56 is the latest offering of the popular GSG-5x family of simulators from Spectracom. In addition to all the features of the advanced GSG-55, it provides simultaneous simulation of the L1 signals of GLONASS and GPS systems as well as all the currently operating Satellite-Based Augmentation Systems [SBAS] for worldwide coverage.

The GSG-55 is a GPS constellation simulator that expands on the set of features of the popular GSG-54, adding 16-channel simulation, SBAS simulation and white noise generation. These new features make the GSG-55 capable for in-line production testing, including navigational fix and position testing, for engineering and development of even more applications than the GSG-54.

GSG-51 GPS Signal Generator.

GSG-51 GPS Signal Generator
The GSG-51 is a GNSS signal generator that emulates a single GNSS signal. The main application is a simple but very fast manufacturing test, to assure that the assembly is correct, that the antenna is properly connected, and that the receiver can receive and identify a satellite signal.

GSG-51 provides a fast and cost-effective solution for production test of GNSS-receivers in e.g. mobile phones with integrated GNSS-receivers. Thanks to the wide RF level range from –65 to –160 dBm, the sensitivity of all types of GNSS receivers can be verified with a minimum of delay. The 60 dB of extra power from normal test scenarios allows from splitting the signal many times.

GSG-51 users can configure settings without the need for an external PC and pre-compilation phase. Via the front panel, the user can swiftly modify parameters such as satellite ID, time and power output. The front panel can be locked out to prevent accidental power down or configuration changes. Once initiated the unit can simulate for 31 days continuously (or indefinitely if the unit is connected to the internet).
